I bought a laptop about 4 months ago, but now has a USB port a loose contact, the devices log on and off again and again, when I just practically tap the port, and it has turned up a red pixel error, I bought the laptop at Mediamarkt, so I can exchange it without any problems, or have it repaired?
Do not usually exchange, but you can try.
Pixel errors are always such a thing, which are often not covered in the warranty. But you can try to criticize this.
However, they have to repair the port, ie re-solder, replace the motherboard or directly save the whole laptop to save work.
If it was in the shop, you can only ask if they do that.
If there's a defect, then you can pull the warranty and the defects must be corrected by the seller. The loose contact on the USB port is usually such a defect.
A single red pixel is not a defect.
I think less exchange, but if the laptop should have no mechanical defects, the manufacturer must repair the. Only after 3 repair failures you have a right of return.
They simply say violence from the outside via a usb plug. What also caused the defect to 99% and the manufacturer can see that on the board.
How long does the reversal of the burden of proof apply again?
May just as well be a cold solder joint.
The pc manufacturer will check that out and that will cost you. With such defects is almost always the buyer guilty of his stuff is not careful.
